NPP misuses FOCUS: Ernest Mawrie

Shillong, Dec 9: The state BJP president Ernest Mawrie has alleged that the FOCUS scheme is being misused by the ruling National People’s Party (NPP).

He said that the NPP candidates in some of the constituencies like West Shillong were going to the public and offering them Rs 4000 -5000 through the scheme even though the scheme is meant for producer groups and farmers in the rural areas
