Border talks set to be delayed

SHILLONG, Dec 9: The next round of talks between Assam and Meghalaya to resolve the border dispute in the six remaining areas is likely to be delayed since the state government has allowed the three regional committees an additional time of 45 days to submit their reports.
The announcement was made by Chief Secretary Donald P Wahlang on Friday.
