The Meghalaya Yogasana Sports Association on Sunday conducted the ‘1st State Level Master’s Yogasana Sports Championship-2022’ in both online and offline mode. According to a statement, the championship was participated by people from both the regions of Khasi Hills and Garo Hills. “The selected finalist will represent the State of Meghalaya at National Level Master’s Championship scheduled on January 2023 next year in Rajasthan,” the statement said.
BJP mandal
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has formed the mandal team for Mawlai constituency. Following the formation of the mandal, Bankordor Massar was elected as the mandal president. “He and his team of office-bearers were given charge in the presence of State General Secretary GC Nongbet, District President Nitin Khera and other leaders of the party,” a statement in this regard said. Meanwhile, Massar said that he is committed in carrying forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message of development to the people in his area, and expressed confidence that the people will welcome the BJP with open arms.
