PM likely to visit state on Dec 18

SHILLONG, Dec 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Shillong on December 18 to preside over the golden jubilee celebrations of the North Eastern Council.
The governors and chief ministers of all the eight Northeastern states are scheduled to attend the programme.
Though the Prime Minister’s itinerary has not been announced, a government source said that Modi would attend a programme at IIM Shillong.
