SHILLONG, Dec 14: The state government has issued the work order for the repair of the Jowai Bypass, Deputy Chief Minister in-charge of PWD (Roads) Prestone Tynsong said on Wednesday.
When asked, he also informed that the repair work on the stretch from Mawryngkneng till Puriang is under way.
It may be mentioned that the High Court of Meghalaya had earlier ordered immediate repair of the Jowai Bypass, which is in a deplorable state.
