SHILLONG, Dec 17: Elgiva Gwyneth Rynjah, who is the lone female aspirant from the TMC in North Shillong constituency to challenge political heavyweights during the upcoming Assembly elections, has said there are scores of issues that are plaguing the constituency.
Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, Elgiva said that while everything appears normal on the surface, the situation is otherwise as there are many underlying issues in the constituency.
One of the unattended issues in the constituency, according to Elgiva, is unemployment of youths and women.
Maintaining that she wants youths to have a better future, Elgiva said that she is not taking her political rivals lightly.
