Three juveniles in police net over two-wheeler theft

SHILLONG, Jan 4: Three juveniles, all 17-year-old, charged with stealing bikes and scooters were apprehended by the police on Tuesday in connection with a case registered with Rynjah Police Station in regard with a stolen two-wheeler.
In a joint raid by the police from Nongthymmai and Madanrting, four scooties were recovered from Laitkor Nongdaneng forest.
Police said they have been stealing two-wheelers for some time and selling them in neighboring districts.
Efforts are on to recover more two-wheelers.
