TURA, Jan 12: Over a dozen active party workers of the National People’s Party (NPP) at the block level and the National People’s Youth Front (NPYF) from North Garo Hills on Thursday resigned en masse, expressing disappointment over the manner of NPP’s functioning.
In their joint letter of resignation to the NPP president in North Garo Hills, the members expressed unhappiness with the functioning and working of the party whether organisational or otherwise.
“There is no transparency at all in the decisions of the party on many crucial matters. The grassroots level decisions of the party are never accepted at the higher level,” the members said in their resignation letter.
