TMC members resign en masse in Dalu

TURA, Jan 12: In a major setback to the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Dalu, members of the Dalu Block Trinamool Congress Committee resigned en masse, in support of Independent candidate Sarba R Marak.
The mass resignation came following a public meeting held at the residence of the Marak on Wednesday, which was attended by around 2,000 supporters from various polling stations.
Apart from TMC block members, others who resigned included party presidents and secretaries of 20 polling stations.
