SHILLONG, Jan 19: The permanent bridge at Dwar Ksuid along Shillong Bypass is likely to be completed by April this year.
An NHAI official said that work is progressing well.
The Dwar Ksuid bridge had made headlines after it developed cracks a few years go. The government then came up with the idea of a temporary bailey bridge in the area. But only recently, it was reported that cracks have developed on the Dwar Ksuid RCC bridge. However, NHAI officials said that movement of traffic is on and it is not an issue.
