Meghalaya placed in Group B of Santosh Trophy

SHILLONG, Jan 19 : Meghalaya have been placed in Group B along with powerhouses Bengal, Services, Railways for final rounds of the Santosh Trophy National Football Championship here on Thursday.
Defending champions Kerala placed in Group A, alongside Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa. The winners of Group VI which will commence in Imphal on January 22 will also be placed in Group A. Group B consists of the previous edition’s runners-up Bengal, Delhi and Meghalaya as well as the two direct entrants, Services and Railways.
The runners-up of Group II /IV depending on a better record as per regulations will make up the final spot in this group.The results of the draw are as follows:
Group A: Kerala, Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Odisha, Group VI Winner
Group B: Bengal, Meghalaya, Delhi, Services, Railways, Group II/VI Runners-up

February 11: Meghalaya vs Services
February 13: Meghalaya vs Runners Up Group II/VI
February 15: Railways vs Meghalaya
February 18: Meghalaya vs Delhi
February 20: Bengal vs Meghalaya
The final rounds will be played in Odisha from February 10-20.The semi-finals,3rd playoff and the finals will be played in Saudi Arabia.
