Photo exhibition
As part of the celebration of the 51st Meghalaya Statehood Day, a photo exhibition titled ‘Ki Jingkynmaw- Kynmo Tympang-Gisik Ra∙ani’ has been opened to the public till January 21. The exhibition, under way at U Soso Tham premises, is an effort to showcase the materials which are part of an audio visual heritage that have been collected from across Meghalaya, and as a reminder of the rich history and legacy in the Khasi, Jaintia and Garo Hills and the importance of preserving them. Photographs under different categories were displayed on vitrine boards and glass cases.
