Shillong, Jan 27: With an ardent vision to serve the people of the state, Meghalaya TMC leaders are traversing the length and breadth of the state, taking the message of the party to the masses.

While addressing a massive gathering in North Garo Hills, Trinamool Congress leader Dr. Mukul Sangma assured people of implementing the 10 pledges announced last week.

“Meghalaya TMC takes pride to declare that we launched the manifesto before other parties. For everyone who thinks about what will we do after forming the government in the state, we have promised 10 pledges covering education, health, infrastructure, opportunities for the traders, and other signature initiatives,” he told the gathering.

Thousands of people had arrived at the Chotcholja Ground to hear Dr. Sangma talk about his party’s vision for the state. Friday’s major event in the district is among a flurry of activities that have been held in the region following AITC Chairperson Mamata Banerjee’s address in Mendipathar on January 18 , according to a TMC Press release.
