Meghalaya trail Himachal by 355 at end of Day 2

Shillong, Jan 30: Meghalaya were trailing Himachal Pradesh by 355 runs at the end of day two in their U-25 Col CK Nayudu Trophy match in Lucknow.
On Sunday, Meghalaya won the toss and chose to field first. Himachal batted aggressively to post 419/6 in 72.2 overs and declared only after Mukul Negi was dismissed for 152 by Aryan Bora. The left-arm spinner was the most successful with figures of 3/106. Ram Gurung scalped 2/93 and Manish Sharma 1/71.
At stumps, Meghalaya were 23/1, having lost Anish Charak for a run-a-ball 12. There were extensive weather disruptions on Monday, which meant that Meghalaya only got to 64/5 in 22 overs when stumps were called by the umpires.
Rohit Shah (14) hit the highest score so far with Jaskirat Singh Sachdeva not out on 11.
