Shillong, Feb 6:  The National People’s Party (NPP) candidate from Mylliem  (LAC), Hamletson Dohling said that the demand for implementation of ILP and inclusion of Khasi language in Eight Schedule of the Constitution would be his priorities if he was re-elected.

Taking to reporters after filing his nomination papers for the ensuing Assembly polls here on Monday, Dohling said that the people of the constituency were supporting him as an individual and not because of the political party.

He also clarified that it was not his personal decision to join and contest from the NPP.
According to him, it is the decision of his leaders and supporters. “I have to listen to them,” Dohling said.
