SCL First Division: Riatsamthiah get better of Nongkseh CC

Shillong, Feb 16: Riatsamthiah SCC beat Nongkseh CC by 7 wickets in the Shillong Cricket League First Division match in MCA Polo ground on Thursday. Batting first, Nongkseh scored 147/10 in 34.3 overs, with Richmond Nongdhar (28 runs from 58 balls) and Bushbashisha Tohtih (21 runs from 14 balls) top scoring for the team. Off-spinner Shaisngi Lyngdoh (2/23) and Nick Dann (2/29) were the most successful bowlers for Riatsamthiah. In reply, Riatsamthiah comfortable chases the target made 149/3 in 20.3 on the back of Ibit Thabah’s 72 runs from 45 balls. Jerimaiah Lyngdoh (36 runs from 44 balls) was the second best scorer for Riatsamthiah. For Nongkseh, Bushbashisha Tohtih (2/39) and Banphira Basaiawmoit (1/14) shared the wickets that fell. Thabah was adjudged the Player of the Match for his match-wining knock.
