Mock security drill ahead on PM’s road show in Shillong

Shillong, Feb 23:  With the Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi scheduled to undertake a road show in this hill capital city tomorrow to bolster prospects of the BJP in Meghalaya Assembly election, security forces carried out an extensive mock drill on city roads as a prelude to the PM’s Road show.

Polling in Meghalaya is scheduled for February 27 next and poll results will be declared on March 2. The BJP is contenting in all the 60 Assembly constituencies this time and hopes to do much better that the last Assembly polls held in 2018 when the party won only two Assembly seats.
