Car rally on ethical voting

SHILLONG, Feb 24: With Assembly elections in three days, a car rally on ethical voting was on Friday organised in East Garo Hills district.
According to a statement, the car rally, which was organised by District Election Officer (DEO) Jagdish Chelani, covered Williamnagar-Rongjeng-Nongchram-Nengkhra-Williamnagar route, and was participated by officials from various departments, police and CAPF personnel, et al.
“During the rally, election songs including state anthem and songs for PwD voters were also played and the District Public Relations Officer, spoke on the importance of free and fair voting,” the statement said.
