NPP candidate from North Shillong Ransom Sutnga has said that a solution will be arrived at through discussions if there is a hung Assembly.

Sutnga, who was the executive engineer of PWD overseeing the construction of the Assembly building, which ran into controversy following the collapse of the dome, took voluntary retirement from service only to jump into the political arena.

Other major candidates from North Shillong constituency are VPP candidate and sitting MLA Adelbert Nongrum, BJP’s M Kharkrang, Congress’ John A Lyngdoh, and UDP’s Aman Warr.
