‘MDA 2.0 will be transparent, corruption-free’

SHILLONG, March 7: Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar has assured that the MDA 2.0 Government will be transparent and free from corruption.
“The government’s priority will be to serve the people in a better way,” Dhar said while pointing out that that there are not many challenges before the new government and it will work on different issues afflicting the state.
He also said that the government will resolve the issue of illegal coal mining in the state.
Dhar expressed happiness that Jaintia Hills region will have adequate representation in the Cabinet with him as the Deputy Chief Minister. UDP’s Khliehriat MLA, Kyrmen Shylla has also been inducted into the MDA 2.0 Cabinet.
