BSF brass band enthralls visitors at Ward’s Lake

SHILLONG, March 11: In a bid to disseminate awareness on national integration and evoke a spirit of patriotism among the general public, the BSF Meghalaya Frontier brass band on Saturday performed for the visitors, comprising tourists and locals, at Ward’s Lake, Shillong.
According to a statement here, the performance was organised as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
“BSF Band amazed all the tourists visiting Ward’s Lake with popular patriotic tunes and left the audience awestruck with the proficiency shown by BSF band members with their musical instruments. Besides tourists, people living around the lake also witnessed and enjoyed this programme,” the statement said.
