ADG visits BSF Frontier Meghalaya to review operational preparedness

Shillong, March 15:  The Additional Director General (ADG), BSF (Eastern Command) Kolkata, Ms. Sonali Mishra, visited BSF Frontier Meghalaya for reviewing the current security scenario and operational preparedness on Indo-Bangladesh International border.

The ADG, visited War Memorial Killapara situated in West Garo Hills yesterday  and paid homage to BSF martyrs. The ADG also interacted with Brigadier Gen. Md Sahidul Islam, Regional Commander Sarail, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and other BGB Officials at border to discuss various operational aspects and challenges on Meghalaya- Bangladesh Border.

The ADG took stock of the security scenario, reviewed the border domination and operational preparedness in order to make Indo-Bangladesh international border peaceful and crime free. The ADG applauded the efforts and dedication of BSF personnel in safeguarding the borders and efforts being made to control border crimes.
