BSF ADG takes stock of security scenario on int’l border

TURA, March 15: Additional Director General (ADG), BSF, Eastern Command, Sonali Mishra, on Tuesday reviewed the current security scenario and operational preparedness on the Indo-Bangladesh border.
The ADG, during her visit, also interacted with the BSF personnel deployed along the border and acknowledged their efforts in safeguarding the porous border as well as checking transborder crimes.
Earlier in the day, she also visited the War Memorial at Killapara near Dalu in West Garo Hills and paid homage to BSF battle casualties.
The ADG, during her visit, also interacted with Brig Gen Md Sahidul Islam, Regional Commander Sarail, Border Guard Bangladesh, and other BGB officials, and discussed various operational aspects and challenges in keeping the international border peaceful and crime-free.
