SHILLONG, March 16: In an effort to augment the state’s power generation capacity, the state government may consider taking a fresh look at the proposed power projects which have been pending for years.
Revealing this, Power Minister Abu Taher Mondal said on Thursday that the department will have to go for an in-depth study since many power projects have been pending since 2010-2011. “We might scrap and think anew if the parties concerned are no longer willing to pursue these projects,” Mondal said.
