Expulsion
State BJP president Ernest Mawrie has expelled Pramod Koch, Micheal Kharsyntiew and Daniel Wahlang from the primary membership of the party. According to a statement, it was informed that the aforesaid persons have been expelled for “contesting against the official candidates of the party in the Assembly Election and also working against the official candidate of the party”.
Inauguration
The Shillong Law College Model United Nations Club was on Tuesday inaugurated during a programme at the Shillong Law College. It may be mentioned that the Shillong Law College Model United Nations Club is a platform for students to engage in discussions and debates on global issues as well as develop leadership and diplomatic skills. The students of Shillong Law College will now have the opportunity to participate in various UN conferences and events. The programme was attended by students and faculty members, who expressed their excitement and enthusiasm for the club.
