Shillong, March 21: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha who is also the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today showed mobile phones to media after the Enforcement Directorate had claimed she allegedly destroyed the evidence.

While on her way to the ED office in the alleged Delhi excise policy scam, she showed the mobile phones. She reached the ED office as she will be questioned for the third time in the case in which former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is already in jail.

She was questioned for nearly 10 hours yesterday and was asked to visit the office again today. She was earlier questioned in the case related to the excise policy on March 11. K Kavitha had skipped questioning by ED claiming her plea for relief in the case was pending before the Supreme Court. The SC will hear her plea on March 24.

Kavitha on March 11 is believed to have countered the statements made by Arun Ramchandran Pillai a Hyderabad based businessman who is already arrested in the case.
