Slain CRPF jawan’s widow gifted school in WGH

TURA, March 22: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Wednesday handed over a school hall, a cycle stand and two toilets to the widow of slain CRPF jawan Sugandha Koch.
Sugandha, a CRPF jawan who hailed from Gandhi Para village under Garobadha of South West Garo Hills, was killed in action in an IED explosion in the jungles of Bijapur in Chhattisgarh.
The school has been named after the slain CRPF jawan and has been constructed under the CRPF’s Civic Action Programme.
Purnita Koch, the widow of Sugandha, was handed over the Sugandha Koch LP School building at Gandhipara in West Garo Hills.
