SHILLONG, April 2: The Meghalaya Trinamool Congress is likely to take a decision on contesting the Lok Sabha elections in Shillong and Tura within this month.
Informing this on Sunday, Meghalaya TMC president, Charles Pyngrope said the party is yet to decide anything related to the Lok Sabha polls.
He said that he would not be able to confirm if the party will contest the two seats in next years’ polls.
He, however, added that the party will hold a meeting tentatively by the second or third week of April to discuss the matter.
