Ri-Bhoi Deputy Commissioner has declared holiday in the district on April 10 on account of Shad Suk Mynsiem. According to a statement, all state government offices, revenue and magisterial courts, and educational institutions within the district have been directed to remain closed on the aforesaid date. In a separate order, the DC has also declared dry day across the district on Friday on account of Good Friday.

The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner (Excise) has declared dry day across the district on Friday on account of Good Friday. In this regard, all bonded warehouses/IMFL “OFF” & “ON” shops, home delivery licenses, canteens and outstills have been directed to remain closed.
