SHILLONG, April 4: Former journalist Augustine Khrawbor Kharkongor passed away on Monday night after a brief illness.
Kharkongor was associated with Peitngor, PCN and other organisations.
After his stint with journalism, he had been a teacher at St. Paul Seminary School, Upper Shillong. His funeral will be held at the Catholic Church Cemetery at Laimer, Upper Shillong, at 2 pm on Wednesday.
The Shillong Press Club held a condolence meeting on Tuesday to pay tribute to its former member.
