Shillong, April 6: Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey died allegedly by suicide on March 26 this year. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan in a hotel room.

The actress was not intoxicated, according to her postmortem report, but 20 ml of an unidentified liquid had been discovered inside her stomach. Her stomach’s mucous membrane was constricted, and she also had damage marks on her wrist.

Madhu Dubey, the late actress’s mother, has accused two persons behind her daughter’s death. She has accused Samar Singh and Sanjay Singh for allegedly killing Akanksha. The late actress’s family has now accused someone of foul play. Shashank Shekhar Tripathi, Akanksha’s attorney, has also alleged that the actress was murdered.

In a letter to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Akanksha Dubey’s attorney Shashank Shekhar Tripathi requested that the CBI conduct an investigation into this case. Akanksha was killed, according to the late actress’s attorney. He further asserted that Akanksha was forcibly cremated despite her mother’s demand that it take place after the postmortem report.

According to reports, Akanksha Dubey was in Varanasi for a project shoot. The actress went to the Sarnath Hotel nearby when the shooting was over. In her hotel room, she was found dead.
