Pius Marwein inducted as KHADC EM

SHILLONG, April 5: UDP MDC from Ranikor, Pius Marwein, was on Wednesday inducted as the new Executive Member (EM) of the Executive Committee (EC) in the KHADC by Chief Executive Member (CEM), Titostarwell Chyne.
Marwein was inducted in place of Jaiaw UDP MDC, Paul Lyngdoh, who is currently one of the Cabinet ministers in the Conrad K Sangma-led Cabinet of the MDA 2.0 Government.
Informing this, Chyne said that the UDP MDC from Ranikor will hold charge of Elaka of West Khasi Hills, Eastern West Khasi Hills and South West Khasi Hills besides Sports and Youth Affairs and Building-Bye Laws.
He will also be the vice chairman of Khasi Hills Building and Structure Regulatory Authority (KHB&SRA), of which Chyne is the chairman.
According to him, the decision to induct Marwein was taken by the party.
