NONGSTOIN, April 6: The Hynniewtrep National Youth Movement (HNYM), West Khasi Hills (WKH) unit, has urged the Branch Manager of Meghalaya Rural Bank, Nongstoin, to immediately set up an ATM kiosk at the premises of the bank.
Hynniewtrep National Youth Movement West Khasi Hills unit president Tailanstar Lyngkhoi informed media persons that people from far-flung areas visit the branch and wait in long queues just to withdraw money from the bank.
He said an ATM kiosk will abate the woes of those people.
Lyngkhoi also said that the branch manager has assured the HNYM of taking up the matter with the higher authority for the installation of the ATM kiosk at the bank’s Nongstoin branch.
