Shillong, April 11: UDP leader and Cabinet Minister, Kyrmen Shylla on Tuesday stressed that all steps should be taken by Assam and Meghalaya Government to ensure that the second phase of the interstate boundary talks leaves no room for regrets when done.

Citing instances of resentment in few corners of the first six disputed areas as part of the first phase of the talks, he however, said that everything was done with the consent of the border populace.

The minister stressed that it is important to take the aspirations of all into consideration before sealing the deal.
