Shillong, April 11: After Sushmita Sen had a heart attack earlier this year, production on the third season of the Disney+ Hotstar series Aarya was put on hold. According to actor Vikas Kumar, who plays ACP Khan in the movie Aarya, the crew would likely start filming again in Jaipur very soon.

Sushmita had a heart attack after arriving in Jaipur, according to Vikas, added that she got to know about it later.

A few days after having a heart attack, on March 2, Sushmita announced it. The actor had mentioned that she had an angioplasty at a hospital in an Instagram post.

Days later, during an Instagram Live, Sushmita revealed to her followers that she had suffered a “major heart attack,” which had resulted in a 95% blockage of one of her arteries. She had also expressed her gratitude to Aarya’s creators for helping her recover from a heart attack. In a recent interview, her co-star Vikas discussed Sushmita’s heart attack and their Aarya shoot.

“A sizable portion of season 3 is finished. The show is based in Rajasthan. In Jaipur, we need to film a few exterior scenes. We arrived there, but Sushmita Sen sadly had a heart attack. At first, we were unaware of it. After a few days, she finally told the world, and we found out,” Vikas said.

He said, “At first, not even she knew what had happened. The tests were completed. Later, when she learned about it, she let everyone know. That is how we learned about it. After only one day of shooting, we realised that we couldn’t continue. It was clearly clear that the situation was not temporary, and we must halt. So we took a short break.

Last month, a week after having a heart attack, Sushmita said that she had started working out again on the recommendation of her cardiologist.
