Shillong, April 16: Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal said that Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will arrest him in case Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had instructed the agency.

Kejriwal was speaking to the media ahead of CBI’s questioning in the alleged liquor policy scam.

The AAP leader, who on Sunday morning had a high-level gathering of the senior party leaders at his residence, declared, “CBI will arrest me if BJP has instructed the agency.”

Kejriwal attacked the BJP, saying, “These people could put anyone in jail. Even innocent people aren’t taken into account”.

Kejriwal, who on Friday asserted that there was no liquor policy scam, alleged that the BJP had grown arrogant. “They keep threatening anybody they want since they don’t comprehend anyone. Judges, the media, and businesspeople are all under threat”.

“Will Kejriwal being imprisoned resolve the issues facing the nation”, he questioned.

CM Kejriwal, who will be questioned on Sunday, was accompanied to the CBI headquarters by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, MPs, and AAP ministers.

Following the chief minister’s receipt of the summons on Friday, the opposition party charged that the BJP was planning a plot to imprison Arvind Kejriwal. Sanjay Singh, the party’s leader and a member of the Rajya Sabha, claimed in a press conference that the AAP was under pressure since it had been granted national party status.
