11 dead in a gas leak incident in Punjab’s Ludhiana, many serious

Shillong, April 30: At least eleven people have died while many others have fallen ill due to an incident of gas leak in Giaspura area of Punjab’s Ludhiana.

Police has cordoned off area around 200 to 300 metres around a store from where the gas leaked. NDRF teams have been rushed to area and team of doctors and fire brigade also reached this spot.
