Hyundai starts booking for small SUV Exter in India

Shillong, May 8: Hyundai India has started taking pre-orders for the Exter small SUV. The company dealerships all over India accept a symbolic payment of Rs 11,000 to reserve it.

Additionally, potential customers can make a Hyundai Exter reservation online by going to the company’s “Click to Buy” e-commerce website.

There will be five trim levels for the Hyundai Exter: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect. It will be offered in six single-tone and three dual-tone colour schemes, with Cosmic Blue and Ranger Khaki serving as two of the new and exclusive paint tones.

Commenting on commencement of bookings for Hyundai EXTER, Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “We are glad to announce the commencement of bookings for our latest new SUV – Hyundai EXTER. With this new SUV, we are venturing into a new segment that further enhances HMI’s position as a full range SUV manufacturer”.

The Hyundai Exter features the distinctive parametric front grille, H-shaped LED DRLs, Projector headlights, and Sporty skid plate that is a hallmark of the brand. Additionally, it has the distinctive EXTER insignia on the bonnet. It will have side sill panelling and wheel arches painted black that house alloy wheels with diamond cuts. The micro-SUV is distinguished by its floating roof design, geometric C-pillar garnish, and sporty bridge-style roof rails.

The Exter will be offered for petrol and CNG. It will be equipped with a 1.2L Kappa petrol engine that is E20 fuel ready and a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. The 1.2L Bi-fuel Kappa petrol engine will be used in the CNG variant along with a modified CNG kit and a 5-speed manual gearbox.
