Unclaimed body
On May 11, an unknown man was found lying at Goenka Compound near Neha Transport parking area, lewduh, Shillong. He was subsequently shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital for treatment. He, however, passed away on the same day. Accordingly, inquest and other legal formalities were observed, and the body of the deceased has been kept at the hospital morgue for identification and claim. According to a statement here, the deceased is approximately 5.4 feet tall, is around 38 years, has a swarthy complexion, a thin built, oval-shaped face, black hair and black and grayish facial hair. In this regard, all concerned have been asked to contact 0364-2224818 or 0364-2222214 for identification and claim of the body.
