Rakesh Tikait holds mahapanchayat in support of protesting wrestlers

Shillong, June 1: Rakesh Tikait, the national president of the Indian Farmers Union, will speak to a mahapanchayat of farmers on Thursday in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, near the Tappal police station.

The mahapanchayat was organised in support for the wrestlers who are protesting the alleged sexual harassment of female wrestlers by BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh while he served as the president of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI).
