3-member team to suggest names for expert panel

SHILLONG, June 14: The state government on Wednesday notified the constitution of the Search Committee to identify the members of the Expert Committee to review the Meghalaya State Reservation Policy, 1972. The notification was issued 13 days after the state government had announced constitution of a five-member expert panel to review the job reservation policy.
The Search Committee will be headed by Chief Secretary Donald P. Wahlang while Commissioner and Secretary of Personnel & AR Department, Ripnar Lyngdoh and Secretary of Law Department, CVD Diengdoh will be the members.
The committee has been asked to submit its recommendations to the state government within one month.
