3 AISPETC students clear prelims of Civil Services Exam

SHILLONG, June 15: Three students from All India Services Pre-Examination Training Centre (AISPETC) at Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI) Mawdiandiang have cleared the prelims of the coveted UPSC Civil Services Examination.
The three students are Nidakyrkhu Dkhar, Ammiel Azareel Syiem and Thomas Edison Sumer.
One of the three aspirants, who is a hosteller, said that regular classes and test batches helped him crack the prelims.
It may be noted that the institute will arrange for the mains preparation of the candidates to help them clear the next stage of the exam.
The institute housed at MATI campus in Mawdiangdiang has been coaching over 125 students every year for the past two years. The establishment in the city has a hostel capacity of about 75 students, among who are those from across the state too. Faculty from major cities of India comes for online and offline classes regularly and Test batches are conducted at regular intervals.
More than 10 lakh students have applied for the examination, out of which only around 14,000 have made it to the mains of the UPSC CSE.
