SHILLONG, June 15: Students of the state, who have missed the opportunity to reach their designated centres outside Meghalaya to write the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), will get another opportunity, the government said on Thursday.
Joint Secretary of Education Department, D Lyngdoh said the matter relating to CUET 2023 has been taken up with the Ministry of Education and the National Testing Agency (NTA).
“The state government hereby informs that opportunity will be given to those students who have missed the examinations because of the allocation of centres outside Meghalaya as per the data submitted to National Testing Agency (NTA),” the official said.
At least 40 students of Don Bosco College, Tura, and several more from across the state were allotted exam centres in places like Ranchi, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Kolkata, and other southern states.
