Shillong, June 15: In a tragic incident, a 24-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her boyfriend at a hotel in Faridabad, Haryana. The man in question has been arrested in connection with the case.

The incident came to light late on Tuesday from Hotel Limestone, situated near NHPC Chowk. The Station House Officer (SHO) of Sector 31 Police Station, Veerendra Singh, received information about the mysterious death of a young woman in an OYO room within the vicinity.

Singh and his team immediately rushed to the scene, where they discovered the lifeless body of the woman in the hotel room. Near the body, they found a 24-year-old man, seemingly in an unstable condition, with marks on his neck.

The injured man was taken into custody and subsequently admitted to Badsah Khan Civil Hospital in Faridabad for medical examination and initial treatment. During preliminary interrogations, the man confessed to strangling the woman with a rope.

The accused, identified as Akash, revealed that his actions were motivated by suspicion. He suspected the woman of communicating with another man over the phone. The situation escalated when he called her to Hotel Milestone, and a heated argument ensued, eventually spiraling into a violent altercation that tragically resulted in her murder.
