Art of Living, BBS College hold Yogathon

SHILLONG, June 20: The Art of Living, Shillong Chapter, in collaboration with Buddha Bhanu Saraswati (BBS) College, Shillong, on Tuesday organised Yogathon as part of the International Day of Yoga celebration.
According to a statement here, the Yogathon commenced from Garikhana Point and concluded at BBS College after covering areas of Rhino Point, IGP Point, Police Bazar and Motphran.
“Participants from all walks of life, including students, faculty members, local residents and individuals from various organisations, came together to embrace the joy of practicing yoga in unison,” the statement said.
During the event, under the guidance of experienced yoga instructors, attendees engaged in a series of yoga asanas, pranayama techniques and meditation exercises.
Principal of Buddha Bhanu Saraswati College, Shillong, Dr. Suman Sharma, expressed her delight in being part of this wellness initiative.
She said, “We believe in nurturing the physical and mental well-being of our students, and this Yogathon was a perfect way to promote a healthy lifestyle. We are thrilled to have collaborated with The Art of Living and witness the enthusiasm displayed by participants.”
