Marngar elected Dy Chairman

SHILLONG, June 21: Congress MDC from Mawhati, Charles Marngar was elected unopposed as deputy chairman of the KHADC on Wednesday.
The first-time MDC’s nomination was proposed by Bajop Pyngrope and Carnes Sohshang.
He expressed satisfaction that newly-elected CEM, Pyniaid Sing Syiem would visit the border villages to understand the problems of the people.
Marngar also disclosed that the meeting of the Ri-Bhoi regional committee headed by Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong will be held on June 23.
