JOWAI, July 29: The Jaintia Student Movement (JSM) on Saturday alleged that the Karbis have set up a signboard about 400 meters from the tax gate in Khanduli.
The union has expressed its resentment and anger alleging that the state government has failed to restrict alleged illegal encroachment by Assam in Khanduli.
In reviewing the tension along the Meghalaya-Assam frontier where the tax gate of KAAC was erected in Khanduli village on April 15, the organisation said that the government as well as JHADC is seen indifferent on the issue.
