Rs 767 cr to boost connectivity in Meghalaya

SHILLONG, July 31: Meghalaya has been allocated Rs 767 crore under the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment to improve transport connectivity.
Out of the Rs 767 crore, an amount of Rs 511.75 crore has been approved for the state.
In 2022-23, Meghalaya was allocated an amount of Rs 1049 crore.
The information was provided by Union Minister for DoNER, G. Kishan Reddy in a written reply in the Lok Sabha on Monday.
