Body found
An unknown body of a male (40-50 years of age) was found on the campus of City Hut Dhaba near the drain close to Earle Holiday Home on July 20, according to a statement from the Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills. Accordingly, inquest and other legal formalities were observed. After completion of PM examination the cadaver was kept at the morgue room of NEIGRIHMS for identification and claim. The deceased was 5 feet 8 inches tall, fair-complexioned, and was wearing a black t-shirt, red shorts and black slippers, when found.

Immunisation
The Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0 will begin in West Jaintia Hills from October 7 to 14 targeting children up to 5 years and pregnant women, informed District Medical & Health Officer of West Jaintia Hills. The campaign will be held at health centres or centres specifically set up in villages for the immunisation drive.

Nomination
The Meghalya government has nominated the Joint Secretary, Transport Department, as the nodal officer for effective implementation of the grievance redressal programme under CM Connect, according to a notification issued here.
