Govt announces dignitaries to hoist tricolour on I-Day

Shillong, Aug 11: The government has released the list of dignitaries who will hoist the National Flag and take salute at ceremonial parade on Independence Day at district headquarters, an official statement issued here informed.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma will hoist the Tricolour in Shillong, Ministers, Paul Lyngdoh at Nongstoin, Kyrmen Shylla at Nongpoh, Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar at Jowai, Speaker Thomas A Sangma at Tura, Ministers, Marcuise N Marak at Williamnagar,
Rakkam A Sangma at Baghmara, Comingone Ymbon at Resubelpara, A L Hek at Mawkyrwat, A T Mondal at Ampati, Ampareen Lyngdoh at Khliehriat and Shakliar Warjri at Mairang, an official statement issued here informed on Friday.
In Civil Sub-Divisions Headquarters, Deputy Speaker Timothy D Shira will hoist the National Flag and take salute at the ceremonial parade at Sohra, while MLAs, Lahkmen Rymbui at Amlarem, Sanjay Sangma at Dadenggre, Gavin Mylliem at Pynursla, Sengchim N Sangma at Chokpot, Limison D Sangma at Raksamgre, Methodius Dkhar at Mawshynrut, Pius Marwein at Ranikor, Sosthenes Sohtun at Patharkhmah, Jim M Sangma at Rongjeng, Ian Botham K Sangma at Jengjal, Brening A Sangma at Dalu and Santa Mary Shylla in Hima Shangpung, Laskein C&RD Block.
